Wolverine X-23
When they put Laura Kinney in Wolverine's costume, I wasn't down with it. I really like how X-23 evolved from merely being Logan's clone and a fetishized Battle Royal style murderous schoolgirl vibe to an interesting young woman struggling with embracing both her programming as an assassin and as a person with emotions and desires of her own. She had been in the Wolverine costume before: the yellow and brown kit during the brief Alan Davis drawn story arc in X-Men, and then a very successful version as a member of Wolverine's X-Force (the black and white, but without a cowl)... so here, especially with the choice to go blue and yellow, it felt too forced for me initially. However, her solo book began with an excellent story arc and wonderful art, and I grew to like it. I still prefer her without the cowl, but she's definitely more than just a female Wolverine. I know it goes against normal protocol to draw her without her claws out, but I prefer only showing them in combat.
