Velma [Scooby-Doo Mysteries]
Much has been said about the imagery and vibe of the characters in classic cartoons… if you liked the look of a character as a kid, did you trend towards that look when dating later? I don’t think it’s definitive. I mean, I love the look of Man-E-Faces, but I never went out with anyone with that steez. However, there MIGHT be something going on with Velma, the sharp, intelligent, sassy brunette with glasses and color blocking. When people come up at conventions, drawn in by seeing this one in poster size, I generally learn quickly if they are a ‘Velma’ or ‘Daphne’ or ‘Fred’ type, etc. Above all, I’m a scooby-snack type, I think.
