Spider-Gwen - Valentine's Day 2022
This year, for the Wrong Rocket Valentine’s Day Series, we each chose a character affiliated with the Spider-Verse. I did Spider-Gwen, Torsten chose MJ Watson, Bern chose She-Venom, and Joao selected Black Cat.
I really love the Spider-Gwen costume. My first foray into drawing this character kept her hooded, and also young and lithe, much as she was in the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse animated film. This time, I took a stab at designing her a wee bit older, perhaps mid-20s. I love the detailing, especially the webs on the inside of the hood, and the use of ballet slippers (last time I drew them like circus flats) so this was a fun one to do!
