Spider-Girl
At the time this piece was done, this version of Spider-Girl was fairly new. I remember seeing it in Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, in the Jessica Drew story arc where she was being leeched for the power drug or addicted to the power drug or in some other dire straight. But I liked the costume design because it evoked one of the things I love from Japanese Spider-Man: the clunky web shooters. Never liked them much on Spider-Man in Clone Saga stuff, but here it worked for me. She’s preparing to launch away from a Honda Element I used to own, of course.
