Panda [Body Bags - Adult Version]
Jason Pearson’s Body Bags was a hoot when I was younger. It spoke to me in terms of how a lot of our gaming was at the time (TTRPG campaigns in different homebrew systems, ultimately coalescing as Posthuman RPG] where the imagery was fantastical but the action was graphic. I preferred when his style was more restrained than street exaggerated as he often leaned into but it was always interesting. The imagery of Panda in the cheerleader uniform loaded with weapons, backed up by a massive lump of muscle, or tank, seemed to get more common down the road but at the time I just thought it was the coolest thing. When I decided to draw Panda years later, I aged her up 10 years and speculated on where she would evolve as a design. Pearson RIP
