Hope Summers - Mock Ad Variant

from $8.00

Hope Summers was an interesting attempt to bring back the image and concept of a younger Jean Grey, before they just cut to the taste and brought the real young Jean Grey forward in time. I mean, I haven’t kept up. But I enjoyed the twist on Lone Wolf and Cub when they pushed Cable’s ward forward in age and made her a capable, powerful fighter with untapped abilities. The look of this uniform she wore at the time, usually under a tattered cloak, was pretty awesome. This one was one of my mock ads, which, like the propaganda posters and other fictitious marketing materials, always amuse me to create. I’d buy those matches! Check out the regular version of this piece here as well.
