Jan Ors Happy New Year Pinup [Star Wars]
For this year’s Wrong Rocket Happy New Year Pinup series, we have contributing artists from the US, Portugal, and Germany. For the 2021 - 2022 collection, we continue our theme of ball gowns and cocktail dresses, as if attending a galactic celebration. The fourth of four pieces this year is Jan Ors, a character from the Star Wars video game series, with General Grievous as the New Year’s Baby. This one was illustrated by Torsten Mader. I love that he picked such an interesting and obscure character from the Star Wars pantheon. His Grievous is hilarious too, with unrequited and wheezy love.
