Elphaba - Wicked [Slip Version]
Elphaba owned the Wicked theatrical production. I didn’t get to see the Broadway version, but I’ve heard the recording many times. We saw the traveling production in San Francisco, and I’m delighted we will finally have something filmed for cinema and home viewing soon. I had done two private commissions of Elphaba in the uniform she wore through most of the school settings in the musical, so for this one I went old school witch… I actually spent more time designing the winged monkey than Elphaba’s look. One of my more popular prints at shows. See what I did there! In this variant, her slip is showing, which was a bit spicy. There’s a fully covered one available as well.
