Doomsday
I was not the target market fro DC in this period, and the Death of Superman story arc was not on my radar other than what the media covered. I had the occasion to draw Doomsday for a project and tried to accentuate his scale and power over a defeated and possible dead Superman in this picture. This was done before the infamous scene in the Avengers movie where Hulk flung Loki around and smashed him repeatedly on the ground by the cape, but it’s the same angle.
