Death Redesign [Sandman]

This was a simple concept as a redesign: instead of being fashioned in the goth girl style for which Death is ubiquitously known, I imagined how she would appear if manifesting in the early 70’s. I gave her an all black one piece minidress and tall black boots, and long straight white hair. This was to contrast with the look from the books which is so awesome. The color spot of the flower in her hair, and the sugar skull behind her were compositional choices I just liked, pulling it all together. The cigar cutter was just to be rude.
