Dark Phoenix [New X-Men]
I really liked most of the Grant Morrison New X-Men run. I like most of his books, and I am a big Frank Quitely fan. So, from the sequential art to the Quitely designs for the X-Men themselves, I was very on board. I wasn’t as excited about the back half, but I did like this Dark Phoenix design, largely because it was baffling in its composition. Pants with a phoenix fire modesty curtain? I thought it was cool, so I took a whack at it.
