Daredevil Year One

This piece, featuring an early Daredevil, is pretty much my version of his early days look, where you exclude the red and yellow boxing gear (which I hated until I later appreciated) and you ignore that the Daredevil TV series did it so much cooler with the all black look and the face sock situation.) and I was just enjoying the idea of him being ripped and bulkier than he would later be. I imagine him literally spray painting those boots. My little conceit here is that his billy club becoming a… well, whatever it is with the ropes… being a ‘break in case of emergency’ type thing, hence those little caps popping off. The simplicity of him sprinting forward int he dark felt like the right vibe for him.
