Dakota North is one of those holdover characters that was still active when I was first reading comics in the late 70s and early 80s, then went dormant until folks like Brian Michael Bendis came into the picture in the fans-as-creators era at Marvel. This piece is a riff on her best known cover art, same outfit more or less, but with a Desert Eagle and Daredevil’s batons in there for good measure.
