Catwoman [Dark Knight Rises] HK Redesign
The Nolanverse in the Batman film franchise was my favorite thing at the time, largely because I’m a big fan of Christopher Nolan and Hans Zimmer, and that widescreen, intense story view was a treat. I’ve drawn Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, and two versions of a pre-emptive redesign of the character from before the film was released. In this version, I reimagined her as a cat burglar in Hong Kong, based on some of the cool imagery from Bruce Wayne’s visit overseas in the Dark Knight. The sparing athleticwear is to mitigate the humidity, but of course, there are all those tattoos to show off.
