Boomer [Battlestar Galactica]
Grace Park was one of my favorite actors on Battlestar Galactica, and this piece of Boomer / Athena / Sharan Agathon was my first BSG illustration. I threw in the glowing spine just as a spicy reference to her identity as Number Eight. At the time it was done and at my table at shows, I wasn’t leaning hard on the later season reveals about all of the Cylons in the Galactica crew, but this felt spoiler-free enough if you saw a few episodes, as her failed assassination attempt led the crew to realize the Cylons had developed the humanoid mimicry technology in the first place.
