Batgirl - Year One
Barbara Gordon was a character I liked best as Oracle, or at least as a post-Joker non-powered character in the DCU. I was frankly disappointed when they retconned or tweaked her such that she was back in costume, injury free, in the New 52. My favorite Batgirl/Barbara Gordon stuff was the excellent Batgirl: Year One series, which is what inspired this piece. The yellow was always hard for me to get around, until the way it was rationalized in that series.
