Baroness Blue [G.I. Joe / COBRA]
I have drawn Baroness many times, and it never gets old. This one is specifically Baroness in her more traditional blue uniform. I don’t think I’ve ever drawn it before this piece. I always go for some version of black leathers. Anyway, I was fiddling around with a more exotic face and hairstyle on this one… I suppose I usually draw her with a longer, more southern european look in my mind. Even though I think she had a Germanic accent in the cartoons, I saw her as Italian or Sicilian. I just looked up her name for the first time: Anastasia Cisarovna. Sounds like I was right! Anyway, experimentation. Kind of gives me a Christina Ricci vibe.
